Welcome to HMS Honey Beehive Adoption Scheme.

HMS Honey offers a simple,  Adopt a Beehive scheme, that is open to individuals and all organisations, charities, business, retailers, local authorities, churches and schools that want to make a difference to the world they live in.

Our adopted a beehive service elevates your commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship and shows you care about the world you are part of. It will give you a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the environment while aligning with principles of social responsibility and making a lasting impact on the planet. Adopt a beehive today and bee the change the world needs.

When you sponsor a beehive from HMS Honey you will provide an instant, positive environmental impact. The Adopt A Beehive Bronze Package beehive adoption annual fee is £300 + VAT. This enable us to setup and maintain a wooden beehive for 1 year.  

The following is what the Hive will be made up of:

  • 1x Floor*
  • 1x Brood Box*(where the bees live)
  • 1x Queen Excluder*
  • 1 Supper* (where the honey is stored) HMS Honey will supply more if your bees need them.
  • 1x Roof*
  • 1x Feeder*

This is what your bee will live in and you will see all of this on the information we send you.*

What you will receive

You will receive all of the items detailed below as part of your beehive adoption scheme (VAT INVOICE INCLUDED).

  • A bespoke plaque with your name or company logo, affixed directly to your hive​
  • High resolution, professional digital images of your Adopted Beehive 
  • ​1 x HMS Honey gift set of Honey from your hive. (you will be able to choose from a selection of Items what you would like)
  • HMS Honey Adopt A Beehive Certificate
  • Regular, social media updates, including pictures and videos of your named adopted beehive, across all of our social media platforms.
  • This means you can share our content with your own social media community
  • Licence free, professional, high-resolution images of your sponsored beehive.
  • This package is for 1 year with the option to renew if you would like to at the end of the year.

Terms & Conditions 

We will contact you within a few days with a welcome email outlining the next steps to get your hive set up. ​Adopting a Hive with HMS Honey does not confer any right of ownership to the beehive adopter. The Honeybees, the hive and all the equipment remains the property of HMS Honey.

By adopting a hive does not confer any right to access the land the upon which the adopted beehive is located and adopters have no access the land or the adopted beehive without the consent and presence of HMS Honey. The income received by HMS Honey from the Adopt a Hive Scheme helps secure the future of honeybees and helps with the upkeep of the bees.

The money is not refundable as they will have been spent on the purchase of the hive, signage, bees and upkeep. Monies given to HMS Honey  are donations to help the bees. The donation is required in advance of the period it is designed to cover.

Visitors to the hives must comply with HMS Honey instructions at all times. Your safety and that of the bees is paramount to us. 

* All beehive equipment and materials remain the property of HMS Honey and you do not own any part of the physical hive or the bees within the hive.
